This is a nice set of brushes with one full size and one mid-size brush. I use the smaller one as a travel brush. The brushes have nylon bristles that comb and detangle your wet or dry hair. Each bristle is tipped in a small ball which prevents snagging and hair pulling but also protects your scalp from being scratched.
I like that the base the bristles are mounted in is a flexible cushion that protects your hair but also lets the bristles follow the contour of your scalp.
The handle is molded with ridges and it is easy to hold and does not slip. I find it to be comfortable to use and it feels like a scalp massage while I use it. It is professional grade quality and I recommend it to you. I have thick hair and it works especially well on it.
Bristles fell out of the larger brush after first use. My daughter has long, fine hair, that's not particularly tangled after a shower so I'm not sure what the problem is. The smaller brush seems to be a bit more sturdy (but too small for her head of hair). I'd rather have one "better" brush than two crappy brushes. I'll shop around more next time. The shipping was lightning fast, though.
