I tested this product out on my waterline. As a stand alone eyeliner, it does not do the job. However, When applied with other products, the staying power on the waterline is incredible. To get eyeliner to stay on my waterline, i first dried my water line with a cotton swab. I then applied a generic pencil liner, then put Elf gel cream eyeliner on top of it, and on top of the Elf gel cream eyeliner, I dipped a small pointed eyeliner brush into black (or whatever color you choose) into eyeshadow and applied it on top. Doing this made the staying power of my eyeliner about 5 hours before i needed to reapply. The Elf cream eyeliner comes in a very small container. Fortunately, a little bit goes a long way. Unfortunately, it is hard to get off of your skin with just water. For example, if you make a mistake while applying it, you will need makeup remover to fix your mistakes.
This stuff hardly moves when you set it with black eyeshadow. Stayed on during a 2 hour volleyball practice! You have to warm the pot in your hand a little before using it or it will get really clumped up on the tiny, unhelpful brush that comes with the eyeliner.
